School Spectacular 2008
School Spectacular is Australia’s premier schools concert highlighting some of the most talented school children from all over the state, with a 78 piece orchestra, rhythm section, 1000 piece choir as well as over 3000 dancers.

It was our ninth year of supplying equipment and personnel to the School Spectacular, and the second under the direction of Scott Willsallen from Auditoria www.auditoria.com.au , and it was the biggest and best so far.

With 160 inputs of orchestra and choir the task of mixing all these down to stems was taken care of by Ian Cooper on two Yamaha PM5Ds and a Midas Verona. Stems were then sent to FOH and monitors for on mixing.

The main PA system was comprised of 78xL-Acoustic Kudo and 16xL-Acoustic SB218 subwoofers controlled by a Digico D5 and a Yamaha PM5D. Front of House was mixed by Ian Shapcott and Justin Arthur.

Monitors were mixed by Garry Hall and Ewan McDonald with two Yamaha PM1Ds for the orchestra, rhythm section and the headline talent.
