Australia Day 2009
| Over five locations across the city, Darling Harbour, Hyde Park, Parramatta Park, Pyrmont Park and Royal Botanical Gardens Norwest Sydney provided a wide range of systems to suit each environment we were in - from small stage systems to international touring artists' rigs to point source arrays in the middle of the water. |
 |
Hyde Park started the day with entertainment for all ages, childrens shows, bands, comedians and classical music. Systems in the park ranged from Funktion 1 Res 5 and F218 systems to RCF322A on stands and covered almost every area of the park.
In the West at Parramatta Park was an Adamson Y18 system with T21 subs for a big concert headlined by Grinspoon and Dukes of Windsor.

The day culminated at Darling Harbour with the Australia Day Spectactular. Norwest utilised a large point source system consisting of EAW KF750/755 and EAW BH760 subs playing to an audience of over 150,000 people.
 |
Also on the harbour shore at Pyrmont Park was Jazz on the Water. One of our systems of EAW KF730s covered the people on land and a delay tower of Funktion 1 Res5 covered the lucky people in their boats on water.
Despite the rainy weather over Sydney on Australia Day spirits were high with national pride as Norwest’s Sydney office went out to help Australians celebrate. |
