Brooks and Dunn Australian Tour 2009

For the second year in a row, Norwest provided audio for the Brooks and Dunn Australian Tour. The tour kicked off in Perth and then travelled to Melbourne, Sydney and concluded in Brisbane.

The main PA consisted of 12 x Adamson Y18s over 4 x Adamson Y10s with 6 x Adamson T21subs. Side hangs were 16 x Adamson Y10s and SpekTrix was used as front fill. The system used Dolby Lake Processors and 4 x XTA DP448's plus 4 x DP226's for crossover.

FOH control was Midas XL4 with a Digidesign D-Show 96 Channel for monitors. Twenty four M15 wedges were used for monitors which were driven by Dolby Lake 412's.

Norwest system engineer Justin Arthur said "The Brooks and Dunn crew are great to work with. They are easy going, organised and professional and it was great to have the opportunity to tour with them for the second year in a row."

The unique thing about this tour is that Brooks and Dunn do not bring anything with them - they hire all their gear locally. Norwest has such a large inventory, it is always possible to provide touring acts with the gear of their choice.

RF gear for this tour was also extensive with 12 sends of Sennheiser G2 in ear monitors and 20 channels of Shure UHF R radio microphones Eight for guitars, two head sets and ten hand held’s.

The Adamson PA was (as always) outstanding!
