In June, Norwest Productions provided audio for the Media Launch for Fottball Australia's World Cup Bid.

The event was held at the Great Hall in Parliment House in Canberra. The hall was set up as a football stadium. The PA was EAW JF260's hung in the round. This was powered by Lab Gruppen amplifiers and porcessed with Lake Contours.

One of the biggest chanllenges was that the control was set up outside the room! Project Manager and audio engineer, Amy McDonald, stood my the door and gave feedback on audio levels to Simon Hardiman who was the audio operator.

Speakers included the Prime Minister - Kevin Rudd, Malcolm Turnbull, Frank Lowy and Socceroos Mark Swartzer and Lucas Neill. Entertainment was provided by Christine Anu, tap dancers and a didge player.
