Norwest delivers audio excellence at Tropfest 2010

Movie Extra Tropfest is a free, public event screened live from the Domain, Sydney via simultaneous satellite broadcast to live sites in major cities across Australia and live to all Subscription TV viewers of the Movie Extra channel on FOXTEL & AUSTAR.

Engaged by Production Technologies (Technical Directors for the event), Norwest Productions supplied a 360 degree audio solution to the live event in Sydney's Domain.

The main PA system supplied consisted of three hangs of Adamson Y-10's, three hangs of L-Acoustics Kudo's and EAW BH760 subs. EAW KF260's were used for front fill. Two delay systems were also employed - one for the 75,000 strong crowd and the other for the VIP area. A seperate system was also installed for Trop Junior. A Yamaha PM5D was used for FOH and a Yamaha M7CL for monitors.
